Malias of Throging

Malias of Throging is a character in Harn: Clawing for Power.

Biography

As a sergeant in Coranan's semi-elite Red Guard, Malias spends most of his time patrolling Coranan's streets and alleys, trying to keep crime to a more subtle level. An able and upstanding soldier, Malias dutifully does his best to accomplish the task set before him. While he is not ideologically corrupt, the very nature of Thardic civil service makes him seem so to those unfamiliar with the Thardic way of life. It is of note, however, that Malias is a member of the Imperialist faction, and seeks to return to the days of the glory of the Corani Empire. As such, his personal idol is Kronas of Elernin, Marshal and Magistrate of Eidel Province. His political leanings, however, are more a matter of tavern-room drinking conversation than they are of expeditious action.

Malias is a barrel-chested bear of a man, with bushy eyebrows and a thick brown mustache. He can be found on patrol nearly anywhere in Coranan or at his unit's barracks.
