Game log for the 2014/02/02 session of The Mouldering World, as taken by Joe

Riding down the road outside of the crossroads (where the gas station is), we find a greyhound bus and pull over to investigate. I send Dogface to open the door. He comes back with Flow, some Jesus looking guy who tells you they're headed for Clydesdale. I talk with Flow, arriving at the fact that they have cigarrettes to trade but they're not headed to Bingham. I tell him I can help go to Bingham to get his bus fixed so I go on board but Fluffy gets soft when she learns there might be families on board.

I walk on, magnum hidden under my leathers, like I own the place. It's a mobile village, complete with pigs and hippy shit strung among the Christmas lights. The mix of human sweat and animal odor is almost overwhelming. In the luggage area, they show me 40 cartons of cigarettes. I try one and they're stale but usable since they're the originals. We hook six bikes to the front of the bus like daft horses and help bring them back to Binghamton. The idea is that they can trade their stuff to get their transmission fixed.

After a hard slog back to the gas station at the crossroads, I talk Flow into giving me one of his disciples (Texture) and a couple of carton of cigarettes to take to Binghamton to make the deal. Leaving the bus in the care of the gas station gang, I take Texture to Bingham on the back of Phyllis' bike. He's more curious than he should be, so I figure he's scouting the town as much as trading with it. For example, he knew Abel's name and that we hang out at the County Jail. Noting this, I take him to Bingham and the Oakland Park Hotel.

Parsons, Bingham's head of security, makes it clear to me in a private conversation that the bus is the town's priority, not the people or their goods. Bingham reinforces that he only wants the bus and isn't concerned how the rest of us get it for him. Gilly tells him that she won't be part of a plan that strands the families without making them a deal first. Bingham tells me to bring the bus to town and sends Fluffy along to make sure I don't do anything stupid. Some of the gang wants to hang out with Texture, but I impose my will on them (as Pack Alpha) and get everyone back to the Jail.
