Dalid of Kolfax

Dalid of Kolfax is a character in Harn: Clawing for Power.

Biography

A "lifer" in the Red Guard, Dalid of Kolfax has spent the last twenty years advancing to the rank of sergeant - thrice. A man of coarse demeanor and questionable integrity, Dalid's entry into the Guard is naught but the result of good political connections between the Kolfax clan and their patrons in a lesser branch of clan Wejik. To say that Dalid's lackluster career has been an embarrassment to both his own clan and that of his patrons is putting it mildly. That aside, Dalid is singularly well-suited to garrison life, as he is both personably affable and inveterately lazy. Because his rank does not afford him a high level of pay, Dalid is always on the lookout for creative ways to augment his income, something that is made easier by the fact that he has packed his command (a full Hand of guardsmen) with men of low character similar to his own.

Dalid is a man of middling height with dark brown hair, a bushy brown mustache, and dark eyes. He and his men can frequently be found in the vicinity of Kotros Square, ostensibly on patrol but usually just loafing or engaging in petty extortion.
