Mia had some of the classical, trademark features of Vodacce women with her olive-tinged skin and hair of the deepest black shade when she was born, though to her parents wonderment, she had icy, pale blue eyes, a shocking departure from their lineage. Her beauty as she became a young woman with an easy smile that seemed to make those shocking, alluring eyes flash.  She's tall for her sex and was growing into a curvy figure when Felix last saw her.

The daughter of a consul meant her father could send her to the most prestigious courtesan schools when she became of age, though her mother, an Eisen citizen, argued that she should be given the opportunity to be educated in Eisen before she learned the 'woman's trade' in Vodacce.  She was thus kept in Freiburg as a child, growing up next door to an Eisen family, their son one [[Felix Vogel]].

Mia is currently the prioress of the Malaca convent, ''Las Hermanas de San Felipa'' (The Sisters of Saint Felipa)The sisters are devoted to charity and follow many of the policies of the Benefactine Order, including vows of poverty and chastity.  She has information relating to a Montaigne plot to introduce disease into Castille as a way to turn the war but unresolved issues with Felix Vogel have resurfaced with their reunion and seem to have rattled her immensely.
 
Mia gave the party a mission to find Montaigne saboteurs, accompanied by an Avalon sorcerer, in the mountains intent on spreading plague to Rioja.  They found [[Reginald Buckley]], [[Janisse Rambeaux]] and [[Ivan Tomakivka]] instead and learned that something about the mission didn't sit right.  They returned to the monastery with an injured Ivan who as allowed into the infirmary by Mia.  She screamed at Felix and Nikolai to exit her monastery while the rest of the party was confronted by Holy Inquisitor [[Alonso Mendez de Gallegos del Castille]].  Mia hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Mia Fusco di Freiburg is a character in 7th Sea: The Search for Salvation.
