Interdictor cruiser jumps in and moves slowly through the system. Glides to a stop and starts releasing fighters. Suddenly, the nav beacons come to life and a shuttle starts deploying targets.

Two squadrons of TIE fighters and interceptors are running the course. Two of the fighters make a radical change and the cruiser fires up its engines and burns hard. Igli, fearing that they're coming for us, burns hard away from the pursuit.

Igli punches the drive and starts evasive actions. The guns light up some TIE fighters but the interceptor ponderously accelerates. Igli evades again. The cruiser hits and the fighters keep gaining. We trade damage and take a hard hit that impedes our maneuvering. We're spinning but regain control and continue to destroy the fighters.

Fighting through adversity, Gar charts a course and we jump to an unknown destination and we double jump to make sure that we're not followed. TLDR gives an inspiring speech. Igli and Phex try to fix the ship while Con emerges from the head to report that the inertial dampners failed for a time.

We end up on Hazlett and we need to get Con to program a new transponder code for the ship. Knowing that our relationship with the people of this planet is "complicated", we set down to start our repairs. We see signs about a referendum to join the New Republic. We visit the Ambassador, but her reception is less than excited. TLDR tries to settle her doubts, but she persists in her unease. She and TLDR verbally fence and he gets her to help, but the support is conditional.

TLDR then meets with Tarek Hanko, and brief him. He's surprised the interdictor was alone, as the opposition also has a star destroyer. He also reports that ships have been raided and some diplomatic vessels have disappeared. He suspects a mole. He offers TLDR a mission to find the Imperial cell on Tabacore in order to find the interdictor.

He admits that establishing a New Republic cell on Tabacore has been difficult. He's worried that the world's agricultural output is benefitting the Imperial Remnant.

We take some time to upgrade the ship and ourselves.
