Dealing Debts

Game log for the 2017/07/30 session of London Fog, as taken by Joe

'Pre-session': Malachi chose Night and my rumor is that vampires made a deal with Dawn Court to make sure that dawn was particularly bright, which related in von Klebner’s death. The vampire that asked the favor is Igor Ceausescu (he owes me) and I owe Count Strahd for hosting the meeting.

Only hours have passed since our last session.

'Session: I Hit the Streets looking for a place to live. I find Severin (who is juggling his own problems) who has been among the humans for so long he has forgotten which court he owes fealty to. Our deal is that his protection goes with him and he’s scared of the Jigsaw Man, but he’s got my back as long as I’m there.

Then I send a flowery note to Ned to meet me in the Hotel Avalon for tea (1600) the next day. I try hitting the streets to find Quakers but I’m led into a trap. Abashed the Devil stood, I presented myself before them (and rolled a 12). Brother Silas tells the other Quakers to lay down their weapons and speaks with me. They’ve figured out that Fae aren’t Demons and just want to know where Demons are. I tell him that they like to feast on the mad in Bedlam Asylum and we are about to part peaceably (Silas owes me a debt) when Judith arrives.

She tells me to take them through the sewers to the Masonic Temple. Brother Martin shows up tattle telling and Judith attacks him. The ghosts fight and Judith kicks his ass straight to heaven. Then, she helps me lead the Quakers to the Masonic Temple through the streets.

We arrive just in time to see a corpse, missing a head and an arm, hit the street from a second floor window. I tell Silas that the dead Mason is the work of Demons. I follow them through the door but lose their debt as they figure out that I’ve used them.

  • Lose the debt to Brother Silas
  • Lose the debt to Judith for fulfilling my role as bait for the Quakers.

I investigate and want to know what the Masons are striving for. I find that they are trying to reawaken the Age of Magick for everyone. All of their actions are toward that goal. There is a schism, however, since they are doing it in secret and a small group thinks that the “people” don’t deserve it and it should be withheld for those in the know.

Judith takes me to where Oscar is trapped. I unleash my storm elemental and he is released. I run away from the Temple. Lose the 2nd debt to Oscar
