Get back to town, take a deep breath, and go to deal with Ghilly to get the bike fixed. Chet is with me but he and Lucy run off to shag as soon as we get there. I'm not in the mood to haggle so I agree to her price right off. We have a discussion about "the Great Bus Debacle", which I find humorous. As we go to leave, we hear a commotion in the yard. Chet's trying to draw his weapon and Lucy is restraining him. Both Ghilly and I draw our weapons and we see a Creeper hiding in the junkyard. Rather than shoot her on sight, I blackmail Ghilly to lower her price and owe me a favor.

I head over to the Jail and see that a weird guy named Jackson Twain is annoying Fluffy and Phil. Jackson is just generic weird, so I just drink and observe. I open my brain and Jackson has a technicolor aura, but some items (like his hat) has no aura. His watch, that Phil wants, has a black hole vibe and I know it's running backwards. He's annoying but not worth killing. I take a moment to read everyone else's auras:

Amber is pulsing golden orange Phil is tense (purple) with a yellow stripe down the middle Fluffy is dark red

Fluffy is drunk but she and Phil go to the truck to check it out. Amber and I follow discreetly after two barflys trail them. The barflys surprise Amber in an alleyway, but I'm able to climb on a nearby roof and get the drop on them. I nail one of them through the crown of his hat and the other gets away. Phil has managed to shoot a hole in the truck's gas station during the fight, but I let him deal with the mess while I appropriate the dead man's pistol with the thought that I'll use it to pay Ghilly for my bike repair.
