Biography

Khalem Houamed is the patriarch of a powerful merchant family belonging to the Ruzgar’hala tribe in the Crescent Empire. A broad, swarthy man of middling height, Khalem is known as a gracious host and a purveyor of only the finest foods and gifts to his friends. He demands his baklava be sweet, his kaffe be strong, and his associates be loyal. Khalem's family has been doing business in Jesalute for generations, primarily as horse merchants importing stallions from the lands of the Atlar-vahir.
