Role is the best name I could give for a generic attribute for PCs that could hold class, for systems with character classes, but would also make sense for other systems. In Shadowrun, for example, roles like "Face", "Combat Mage", or "Gunbunny" still make sense. For Rogue Trader, use your Career Name. text
