Thelmen of Ors

Thelmen of Ors is a character in Harn: Clawing for Power.

Biography

Working in the unsettled regions east of Moleryn, freemaster Timberwright Thelmen of Ors takes a high-risk approach to his profession.  Preferring to avoid licensing fees for extracting timber, Thelmen instead logs unclaimed wilderness land that falls within the Gozyda tribal range.  Still, Thelmen is no fool, hiring mercenaries to accompany his logging crews and always keeping his operations close to the Teb river (which in turn reduces his transport costs).  An excellent judge of character, he is a careful planner and does a fair job of anticipating trouble before it arises.  Thelmen is a broad-shouldered man with long brown hair and grey eyes.  His face usually bears a distracted look and a slight frown, as if he is lost in a vaguely dissatisfying thought
