Samnarik of Elernin

Samnarik of Elernin is a character in Harn: Clawing for Power.

Biography

Distant cousin to Marshal Kronas of Elernin, Samnarik has benefitted greatly from his family connections.  A freemaster Mason, Samnarik has received the lion’s share of the contracts to repair and improve legion fortifications in the newly secured Eidel province.  Not simply a matter of nepotism, Samnarik is quite skilled at his chosen profession, and has made a number of design improvements to various fortifications throughout the region.  In his late fifties, the aging mason still participates actively in the construction projects he oversees, and marshals his work crews with as steady a hand as his cousin commands legions.  Samnarik has blond hair now gone almost completely to white, and is still quite powerfully built despite his age.
