Nicolas Crepaux d'Toille

Nicolas Crepaux d'Toille is a character in 7th Sea: The Search for Salvation.

Physical Description

Nicolas is a gentleman in his silver years who has been well-served by good living and fine breeding. He wears his long, white hair in a simple ponytail without leaving a single hair of that thick coif out of place. He's usually wearing a smile and is a larger man, both in height and girth though his (slightly outdated) fashions keep him looking suitably trim.

Biography

Nicolas Crepaux d'Toille is a noble that has found his place, even if it isn't amongst the upper echelons of court many nobles aspire to rub elbows with. He's been in Paix for nearly 30 years, previously working with the Castillian embassy until the war broke out. Since then, Nicolas has been enjoying an early retirement but hasn't left the city, finding Paix to be well-suited to his personality. He's a widower, his wife, Catalina, having passed away over a decade ago. The two were married later in life and never had children together.

Nicolas has been enjoying the party life, attending the nearly non-stop balls and fêtes to be found in Paix but rarely throwing his own as he feels that 'proper hosting' is a women's talent. It's rumored that Nicolas is actually a homosexual and enjoys the attentions of Castillian men over Castillian women. Nicolas appears to still have ties to the Montaigne government, acting at least as an advisor to high ranking persons of interest.
