Antos of Polazel

Antos of Polazel is a character in Harn: Clawing for Power.

Biography

A journeyman Mercantyler, Antos of Polazel works chiefly as a factor for Chaiso of Afkai, the Guildmaster of the Aleath Mercantylers’ Guild.  Since Chaiso is heavily invested in the Kandian wool trade, Antos spends most of his time arranging for his employer’s fine Kandian wools to make it aboard the annual Salt Route caravans to Tashal.  Antos also arranges for the return caravans in the fall from Coranan to Aleath.  Though the seasonal nature of his work leaves him idle for a significant portion of the year, Antos is compensated handsomely enough that he and his sizeable family (a wife and six children) are never at risk of going hungry.  Antos is a stocky man with curly blond hair, brown eyes, and a bushy beard that suffers much pulling and tweaking at the hands of his youngest children.
