Latwig of Herzanon

Latwig of Herzanon is a character in Harn: Clawing for Power.

Biography

After retiring from the Kom Legion, Latwig discovered that he very much missed military life.  Having spent most of his career serving as a scout in the Hefiosa border regions, Latwig was unaccustomed to sleeping indoors and staying in the same place for long periods of time.  When he was unable (or unwilling) to find steady work, Latwig ended up in Coranan looking to put his military skills to work.  He very quickly found a job scouting in advance of caravans on the Salt Route, and has spent the last several years making regular trips to and from Kaldor, as well as escorting pilgrims to Araka Kalai and occasionally working as a traveling bodyguard for wealthy patrons.  Latwig is a short, wiry man in his late thirties with sandy hair, light blue eyes, and skin that is deeply lined and tanned from long exposure to the elements.
