Victrus is a son of one of the many Imperial Navy families, expected to follow in the family footsteps, his lieutenant's cruise found him one of the few survivors of a collier ship that had been beset by pirates. Consumed with hatred of pirates he resigned his commission and went to where he could hone his skills in the killing of pirates.
