Based in Kuseme, Basner of Mynos is journeyman Chandler who acts primarily a caravan outfitter. Rather than operate from a fixed location, for the last several years Basner has loaded up a wagon with common necessities (wheels, axles, cookware, tents, raw canvas, tack and harness gear, etc) and accompanied the seasonal caravans that ply the Salt Route and western Harn. He then sells this merchandise at a modest mark-up on the road when it becomes needed. Merchants and caravan masters seem to prefer this sort of service because it removes the need for them to maintain their own reserves of such gear. A portly, dark-haired man with a bawdy sense of humor, Basner also plays a fair lute and has a decent singing voice.
