Marneus 3rd child of Talfore and Anne Machariel.
Born while Talfore still traveled on the cruiser Wandering Minstrel, a Journeyman-class Fleet Support Ship.
Served aboard the cruiser Pious Spear, a Dauntless-class light cruiser, as master at arms.
The Spear came across an abandoned freighter during a journey through the maw. As they closed on the vessel to investigate the freighter powered up and latched on to the Spear pulling both into the Warp.
Demons started to board the ship and a chaotic battle ensues. Marneus was ordered to board the enemy ship and destroy its warp engines. Upon his return to the Spear he is informed that most of the command staff is dead. This includes his eldest brother the captain. He is forced to take command of the vessel.
