Game log for the 2017/06/18 session of London Fog, as taken by Joe
Pre-Session: Oscar picked Mortality. I discover that the Quakers are hunting Demons and, due to their imprecise understanding of the demonic hierarchy and supernatural beings, have decided that I am counted among demon-kind.
Session: It’s the hour before dawn and Cleo and I are returning from an investigatory session in the London Museum. There’s two inches of fresh snow on the ground. The city looks magical. I hear hobnail boots on fresh snow as we see a man in a Puritan’s hat step out of an alley with a crossbow. Cleo draws her pistol. I Keep my Cool and bolt, but I can’t get far. I’m next to a Quaker.
I take Corruption and try to Wither him, but I’m foiled. He holds me as he dies, but that lets two more Quakers fall on me with silver daggers (3 harm). Next, the Wind Elemental swirls snow, but fails to do any harm other than blowing the gaslights out and plunging the street into darkness. I try to launch another attack with the elemental, but it’s unfocused and hurts Cleo as well (2 harm to all).
Cleo escapes. Alone, I use the elemental and my fae powers to distract the Quakers and make my escape (another corruption). I’m searching for Lady Arwell of Court Shadow. She runs a high class supper club and I seek her aid. She heals 2 of my wounds and doesn’t ask for anything, which is unusual. She is fascinated by mortal politics and knows volumes.
End of Session Mortality and Wild Marked Mortality 0, Night -1, Power 1, Wild 1 Everyone healed +2, leaving me at 0
