Physical Description

Daria is a radiant young woman just past her 19th birthday. Her long, dark hair and pale skin show her pedigree, and her light hazel eyes almost blaze when her blood is pumping. She bears a slim but womanly silhouette with deft, fidgeting fingers and typically wears a guarded, neutral expression.

Biography

Daria is the only daughter of Dario (Now deceased) and Luna Calabretta, née Nicoli, an aging but beautiful courtesan who is rumored to have ties to the powerful Bernoulli family. As a child, she was incessantly spoiled by her mother after the death of her father just two years after her birth. Kept in pretty dresses and taught in all courtly manners, Daria's natural talents coupled with the best education her considerable inheritance could buy have her aimed for the upper echelons of Vodacce society. Her mother is rabidly protective of her daughter, however, and some seem to think she's jealous as well as Daria has been kept out of the social circles she seems destined to wrap around her fingers. If a particularly spectacular festivo is being thrown, Daria will find something else occupying her, much to her chagrin.

Daria was kidnapped from her mothers villa by Oskar Salo in Septimus 1668. She was rescued by the party at Salo's villa and returned home. She attended other dinners thrown by her mother, many men courting her but she expertly and demurely rebuked them. She found herself falling for Benito but kept the attraction discreet until he departed Vodacce for Castille, having Léon give him her hankerchief as a memento of her affections.
