Goris of Quinda is a character in Harn: Clawing for Power.

Innkeep of the Scroll and Quill. The party has used his services and knowledge multiple times. Proprietor of the Scroll and Quill in Coranan, Goris prides himself on the caliber of his clientele. Patronized predominantly by civic officials, clergy, and gentlefolk, the Scroll and Quill offers excellent cuisine and subdued entertainment to discerning customers. While ordinary travelers are not refused entry, they may find that their service is inordinately slow or that the prices are suspiciously steep. In its prime location near a city gate and boasting one of the city's few bonded ostlers, the Scroll and Quill is a popular place for visiting persons of importance to stay. Possessed of an unerring memory for names and faces, Goris goes out of his way to remember the quirks, requirements, and foibles of his various patrons. These details do not go unnoticed, and the inn has a large number of frequent repeat customers. Indeed, so many persons of note come and go from his establishment that Goris usually has a very good idea of who happens to be visiting Coranan at any given moment. Though he scrupulously avoids playing at politics himself (he feels it alienates potential patrons), he cannot help name-dropping in conversation to inflate his own importance. A slender, haughty man in his early fifties, Goris is almost completely bald, with a liver-spotted head, hooked nose, and pale blue eyes.
