	A competent and capable guilded apothecary, Solina of Abarl is a relative newcomer to Coranan. Her education began at an early age by learning about various herbs, unguents, and powders from her grandmother, a village wisewoman from Ashtree manor near Ostenor. While she has adjusted quickly and built a decent client base in the two years she's been in Coranan, she has run into problems with other Coranan apothecaries. Chief among them is Jond of Karin, who regards Solina as a country-bumpkin whose guild credentials were purchased rather than earned. Though he has not stooped to outright sabotage, Jond never wastes an opportunity to speak ill of Solina or impugn her professional capabilities or personal character.
