	The oldest son of Marshal [[Kronas of Elernin]], Ryburn has held his Senate seat since the winter of 715. The seat was the result of political favors garnered through the distribution of lands and titles in Eidel province, along with the political calculation that Ryburn would encounter less opposition to Senate entry than Kronas himself, whose popularity earned the enmity of several powerful Senators. So far, Ryburn has been both studious and conscientious, and ~~while he shares his father’s Imperialist political views, he~~ has been careful not to be heavy-handed in exercising his family’s growing political power.
