	Caldan of Holk was the third guildmaster for the [[Kuseme Guild\|Kuseme Lia Kavair]] in less than a year in 720 TR. He earned his nickname after losing an eye to [[Koral of Geldryss]] when they were both still journeyman apprentices in the Lia Kavair, creating a blood feud between them. Caldan was believed to have taken control of the guild to wage his personal vendetta against Koral, going so far as to continue to deny tribute to Koral. Caldan also wanted Liakos' help in assisting the teamsters in their quest to be guilded, his plan centering around a riot when the salt caravans returned to Coranan. They pointed him at [[Tuvoth of Rylen]], a senator with strong Morgathian ties who was one of the biggest supporters for the teamsters as it could provide better standard of living for the Morgathian laity.
